Could Craigs List ever replace the ubiquitous power pole for neighborhood postings? I am always amazed at the hardware left behind after the garage sale is over, after the lost cat is forgotten, after the babysitter finds a new kid to take care of. I wonder how many tons of steel are driven into these posts. One of my most favorite recent postings was a note looking for a lost ferret.
