Graffiti is vandalism. Artistic tagging on rail cars and warehouses is an eyesore to most people. Personally, I find the craftsmanship of some it to be interesting. I hate the gang banger markings of territory and usually feel disgust when taggers hit stone or brick walls. The same feelings surface when it appears on natural surfaces like trees and stones. For some reason though this one stands out as mildly acceptable. The soft sandstone in the Mississippi River gorge in Mpls has lots of these modern day hieroglyphics. Some portray cartoon characters others are just lovers' initials. But "No Sleep" is a conscience statement. It has a story. Any idea of what it is?
